Sports
Take a Hot Air Balloon over Melbourne, dive with the sharks, watch the cricket at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground, play a round of golf at some of the world's best golf courses. Drive around Albert Park, on the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit alongside Melbourne Sports and Acquatic Centre.

  • SUMMER: During January, Melbourne hosts the Australian Open Tennis. Take Tram Number 70 leaving directly outside our hotel and you will be there in minutes.

  • WINTER: Melbourne loves Aussie Rules Football (AFL) at Etihad Stadium or the MCG. The snow fields are only two hours away, Mt Buller, Melbourne's closest major ski resort has something for everyone.

  • Docklands - The New Quay and Waterfront City promenades are walking distance from our hotel for restaurants, cafes and bars.
  • Bourke Street Mall - between Swanston and Elizabeth Streets - for shopping - GPO, David Jones and Myer depatment stores.
  • Chinatown - Little Bourke St between Swanston and Spring Sts. Free Tourist Shuttle Stop 4.
  • Collins Street - Little Collins St for trendy hidden little bars and top end of Collins Street for high end designer stores.
  • Yarra precinct - runs along the Yarra River from Southbank past Federation Square to Birrarung Marr with beautiful riverside parks to an endless array of restaurants, bars, galleries, theatres and concert halls.
